Cupcake Bonnet - Automn 2014

This is a hat I made especially for my young daughter as a surprise, and she ended up loving it. She really wanted a hat with a cherry on top for herself since she first saw mine and now she proudly has it!

Wow! I'm so surprised... and happy!! I was dancing around the kitchen 20 seconds ago when I found out!  Yay!!
Thank you so much, even if it's not a national contest or something that enormous, having the recognition of my work by other knitters means a lot to me. I'm just getting started with my Etsy shop tomorrow and it's a great encouragement you give me here.
